Ulverston Canoe Club is a registered charity, affiliated to British Canoeing.

We operate under a constitution lodged with the Charity Commission and British Canoeing with Trustees responsible for running the charity and a Committee responsible for the day-to-day operation of the club.

We have a number of policies which all members and guests are expected to abide by but in essence
are a club which adopts a welcoming, safe and supportive approach where "everybody plays together nicely".
We hold both Sport England Clubmark and British Canoeing Quality Mark accreditations
and are working towards British Canoeing's Quality Club accreditation.
